Katarina Stanisljevic Kutlacic, DVM
Hello, and welcome!
I am a doctor of veterinary medicine with a profound dedication to providing exceptional care to animals, particularly in the field of emergency and critical care.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a vet, driven by a deep love for animals and a desire to make a difference in their lives. My journey began with veterinary studies in Serbia, where I built a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and sought opportunities to expand my knowledge internationally. During my studies, I completed three externships at a prestigious veterinary university in Austria, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. I was also honoured to receive an international award for a research article I authored-a milestone that deepened my commitment to advancing veterinary science.
After graduating, I worked in private practice in Serbia, where I refined my clinical skills before relocating to Switzerland to pursue a rotating internship with a focus on emergency and critical care. This experience solidified my passion for assisting animals during their most vulnerable moments and inspired me to dedicate a second year to further specialisation in this demanding yet rewarding field. Working alongside some of the most esteemed critical care professionals, I gained priceless knowledge and expertise in handling even the most complex cases.
In an effort to share my knowledge and contribute to the professional development of others, I established this website as a platform to provide high-quality educational materials. My goal is to empower veterinary professionals through accessible resources, practical insights, and evidence-based information drawn from my experiences.
